Pastor Kurt & Susan Schonheinz heard the call of God and followed. Dropping their personal plans and hopes for the future, they abandoned all and signed up for the School of Ministry, an intense tw-year program hosted by Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Blessed by Pastor Dave Rolph of Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills in Aliso Viejo, CA , they followed the call by beginning a Friday night Bible Study in their home. Also involved in a retirement ministry, outreaches, and Bible studies; their call eventually lead them to plant a church in south Laguna Beach . Kurt and Susan enjoy long walks on the beach, praying with those in need, and the fellowship of the believers. They have been married for 21 years and their life verse is Jeremiah 29:11.Their heart is to reach the people of Laguna Beach and surrounding areas to bring them to the Lord or back into fellowship with Him.
Dianne DiSantoDirector of Children’s Ministries. Dianne has so many gifts and such a joyous spirit that it’s difficult to say she’s “just” the Children’s Ministry Director. She also helps Susan coordinate the hospitality ministry and is on the teaching team of the Women’s Ministry. She is the leader of our prayer ministry and collects the prayer requests.

Mercier and Bridget have always put ministry as a priority in their marriage with Aquila and Pricila as their model. Their passion is the motel outreach in Anaheim, California, called Pardoned Prodigals that has been reaching out to the downtrodden, discouraged, depressed, dejected, and the lost since 2001.Pastor Mercier does the announcements, devotions, and coordinates the men’s ministry with Eric VanDeusen, an elder.
