On October 18, 2008, our faithful Carole and Lee teamed up to bring a beading outreach to the ladies living at Vista Aliso Retirement Community.

A suprise visitor brought fresh baked cookies to fuel their creativity while they chatted, created jewlry and magnets.  They spent a wonderful afternoon in fellowship.

The women’s study is every THURSDAY night at 6:30 p.m.

We are studying the book of James; study and be ready to participate with questions and nuggets of insight.

For Thursday, September 25, focus on James 4:11-12.

The Living Word is always so amazing.

Just a quick reminder to all the ladies:   Our weekly in-depth Bible study in the Book of James will be at 6:30 this Tuesday.  We are starting Chapter 2 and Dianne will be leading.   Proverbs 18 and 28 have some wonderful verses that tie to our study.

We missed those who were unable to attend last week.  Hope all of you can join us this week for study and prayer.  I have an email list for everyone.  See you Tuesday!

15 Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death. ^(A)

16 Don’t be deceived, my dearly loved brothers. ^(B) 17 Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning. ^(C) 18 By His own choice, He gave us a new birth by the message of truth ^[a] so that we would be the firstfruits of His creatures. ^(D)
