No Meeting Tonight! 1-20-10

Because of the Rain and the potential storm Wednesday – we will not meet this Wednesday.  I feel it is too dangerous to be out in the weather we saw today and they are saying that the storm coming in tomorrow afternoon we be much worse.

Stay home with your families and pray – make it a family thing and use this time to teach them about praying and what can be accomplished though it.

Also this is a reminder about fasting today – it is not necessary to fast from food, but from something that will lead you to deny the flesh and to remember to pray.

Pray first for His leading on how and what the Lord would have you pray for

Pray and hold up our church to the Lord

Pray for God’s blessing on this fellowship

Pray for your pastors

Pray for each ministry

          Children’s

          Women’s

          Men’s

          Worship

          Refreshing

          The outreach to the city

Pray for this city

That the LORD would draw to Him those who are lost and those who have left His church

That He would grant us victory over the evil in this city

Pray for those in charge

          City Counsel

          Fire

          Police

Pray for those who sacrifice for our safety

          The Fire Dept.

          The Police Dept.

Pray for the Schools –

          For everyone’s salvation

          For good leadership

          For good teachers

          For the children – their

                   Safety

                   Education

Pray that the LORD will prepare us to go out and pray for the City

Pray that the Lord will go before us and protect us as we go out and pray for the city.

Pray for those in our Church

Who are out of work

Who have health issues

Who are hurting

Who are alone

Please keep Susan and me in your prayers for the Lord to give us wisdom and discernment that we would continue to follow His plans for this church.

Prayer is the greatest tool we have in the body of Christ – Let’s make good use of it as we prepare to go out into the city next month and pray for it…
