Ladies’ Bible Study: The Book of James
June 23. 2008 by Bridget Willard.

Our new study has begun. We are inductively and interactively approaching this book to see what the Lord will speak to us. Our primary text is simply the Book of James.
We have had three sessions so far. We spend time in worship, in study and discussion, and in prayer for each other.
Dianne is leading this week’s discussion that will focus on James 1:9-11.
James 1:9-11 (New King James Version)
The Perspective of Rich and Poor
9 Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation,
10 but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.
11 For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.
Read ahead and come and study the Bible with us.
NOTE: This week we still meet in the Community Room at Vista Aliso.
Next week we will be in our regular room at Lang Park.
Email Susan with any questions.
